Fehlerbehebungen
- Age of Empires II: Das originale The Conquerors wird jetzt als Version 1.0 statt 1.0c angezeigt.
Neue Funktionen
- Neues Spiel: MechCommander Gold (MechCommander und Desperate Measures).
- Neue Sprache: Ukrainisch.
- Age of Empires II: Unterstützung mehrerer Spielversionen.
Verbesserungen
- Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings: Ein Netzwerkspiel startet sofort, ohne etwa 30 Sekunden Wartezeit auf dem Bildschirm „Mehrspielerspiel wird eingerichtet“.

- Age of Mythology: Die automatische Menüsteuerung funktioniert jetzt in jeder Spielsprache.

- New game: Stronghold Crusader Extreme, with its own lobbies. Extreme players used to end up in Stronghold Crusader rooms, and the two versions cannot connect to each other.
- Stronghold Crusader and Crusader Extreme: your GameRanger X nickname is now used in the game. The game used to always show its own player name.
- Stronghold Crusader and Crusader Extreme: fixed players hanging on "waiting for host" forever when the host's PC is slow. Players now join as soon as the host's game is really open.
- Stronghold Crusader and Crusader Extreme: players get into the host's game about 15 seconds sooner.

- Battle for Middle-earth II: Rise of the Witch-king: fixed a host with a mod (such as Realms in Exile) getting stuck on "waiting for the host".
- Fixed an empty lobby staying in the list after the host left or lost the connection. The room now goes to a player who is online, or is removed.

- Chat in the right panel: scrolling up loads older messages, as on the Messages page.
- The right panel switches straight to another conversation when one is already open.

- Side menu: the selected item has a violet frame.
- Lobby rooms of C&C Generals Zero Hour and Stronghold Crusader have their own look.
- If your antivirus removes a GameRanger X component needed to start games, the client restores it and tries again; if it is taken again, you are told how to add an antivirus exclusion.

- The lobby chat input no longer hides under the "Game launched" bar while a game is running.
- Minor bug fixes.

- Added two new languages: Spanish and Portuguese (Portugal).

- The network panel shows only the measured NAT behaviour, without guesses about P2P readiness.
- Switching to another page during a match no longer restarts the network or the game.

- Right-click menus open without a flicker.
- The left menu has even spacing again, and the selected item is no longer cut off at the window edge.

- A room can no longer be made bigger than the number of players its game supports.
- Lobby names with the shake effect are no longer cut off at the edges.

- Private chats: click the player's name or avatar in the chat header to open their profile.
- The host can no longer end a running match for everyone; after the first 90 seconds the host button only leaves the game.
- Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Spearhead and Breakthrough are now supported.
- C&C Generals: automatic menu clicks performance has been improved.
- Battle for Middle-earth: playing several games in a row no longer slows the client down or breaks the next game's connection.

- Warcraft III: if Windows has reserved the game's network port (often after installing Hyper-V, WSL or Docker), the client now explains how to fix it instead of the game failing to host or join.
- Fixed a network loop in Age of Empires III and Age of Mythology rooms that could flood the connection with repeated game search packets.

- The installer now tells you right away that Windows 10 or newer is required.
- In the room password window the cursor is already in the password field.

- If your game could not start after the host started the match, the room now returns to normal once the other players leave the game, instead of staying stuck on "Game launched".

- Opening a game in the Games list no longer signs you out.
- Logging out now asks for confirmation first.
- The chat file picker shows only images, and other files you drop or paste are refused with a message instead of being ignored.
- You can copy a chat image to the clipboard from the image viewer or by right-clicking it.

- Animated GIF profile and clan banners now stay animated for Platinum members.
- If your antivirus blocks a GameRanger X component, the launch error now says so and tells you how to fix it.

- Lobby and friend cards no longer flicker when the pointer is at their edge.
- GameRanger X no longer creates settings folders for Battle for Middle-earth and Generals Zero Hour when those games are not installed.
- You can now send screenshots and images in lobby, private, clan and support chats: paste with Ctrl+V, drag a file in or use the clip button. Images you have not sent yet stay in the chat, like unsent text.

- A friend coming back from "Away" no longer triggers the "is now online" notification.
- C&C Generals / Zero Hour: the game now goes through the menus by itself - the host's room is created and the other players join it automatically (please don't move the mouse while it does). The game also starts faster without the GenTool window and the start-up videos, your graphics settings such as screen resolution are no longer reset to 800x600, and the host's game no longer crashes when it is started a second time in a row.
- After a match, the Start game button now waits until every player has reconnected instead of being clickable too early.

- Warcraft III, Age of Mythology, Age of Empires III, Heroes III and The Battle for Middle-earth start again on computers without the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime installed.
- Starting a Battle for Middle-earth game alone now tells you that another player is needed, instead of waiting and then failing to connect.
- Warcraft III starts again when the game's path was saved with forward slashes, and Warcraft III 1.28 and newer, which have no war3.exe, start from the file you chose.
- Age of Empires III and Age of Mythology, every edition: players whose Wi-Fi or Ethernet took priority over the GameRanger X adapter can join a game again - the host never saw them searching, so their lobby stayed empty.
- The in-room hints on how to create or join a game show arrows again instead of garbled characters, and a few other English texts lost their broken symbols too.
- Translations are fixed across the app: texts that did not follow the language you chose - GenTool status in Generals rooms, the Expand button on the Premium page and others - are now translated, and a few places that showed technical names instead of text now show proper wording.
- The text formatting button in chats has a clear label and a letter icon, so it no longer looks like a way to attach files.
- If Windows Firewall holds a rule that blocks a game from receiving data, you are told which rule it is when the game starts, instead of sitting in a lobby where nobody ever appears. The game is also allowed through the firewall automatically the first time it runs.
- The app's taskbar button shows how many unread messages and notifications you have.
- The lobby list shows how many players are in each game as people join and leave, instead of the number it had when you opened it.
- The blinking text cursor that stood in any text you clicked is gone for good.
- A player in invisible mode stays invisible in the lobby chat: their name no longer shows their tier or admin colour, and hovering it no longer reveals who they are. Messages written while invisible stay that way after invisible mode is turned off.
- Pages and tabs no longer flicker: the lobby list and the game library no longer blank out on every visit, tabs switch instantly, and lists and pages appear at once instead of piece by piece.
- The welcome tour switches slides smoothly instead of flashing an empty card, and its pictures no longer pop in late.
- Messages in the side chat panel show one tick when sent and two when read, like on the Messages page.
- While you wait for the host to load a game, you can now leave with the Abort button, and come back with Join.
- In a narrow window the side menu folds itself up to leave room for the page, and whether you keep it folded on a wide screen is remembered.
- In a small window: the side menu scrolls instead of hiding its bottom buttons, Settings no longer cuts off its section names, the message box in chats is no longer squeezed to a sliver, and the lobby chat always keeps room for messages.
- Stronghold lobbies hold 8 players instead of 4, which is what the game itself supports.
- The button to get back into a running game now says "Join" instead of "Login".
- The country window can be left: a new "Use another account" button signs you out, so picking the wrong account at sign-in is no longer a dead end. The close cross that did nothing is gone.
- F5 no longer reloads the app, F3 no longer opens a search bar over it, and the blinking text cursor no longer appears in ordinary text (it came from F7).
- Shift+Enter starts a new line in the message box, and messages keep their line breaks.
- A message you started typing is still there when you come back from another chat.
- Voice chat now says why the microphone is unavailable — blocked, missing or busy in another program — and what to do about it, instead of just doing nothing.
- Denying the microphone once no longer breaks voice chat for good, and voice falls back to the default microphone when the one you picked is unplugged.
- Emoji no longer disappear when their images cannot be downloaded: the plain emoji is shown in place of the animated one — in messages, in the message box and in the picker — with no broken-image icon next to it.
- Updating is no longer optional: when the app starts and a new version is there, it is installed before you carry on. If the update itself cannot be fetched, the app still opens.
- In Arabic the interface is laid out right to left the way it should be: padding and borders sit on the correct side, badges and panels are on the correct edge, arrows point the right way, and letters are no longer pulled apart in nicknames.
- Under the other person's name in a conversation you can see when they were last online, instead of a plain "Offline".
- Aborting a game now reaches the server: the other players are told to quit, and the false "Failed to abort the game" error no longer appears.
- The sticker window is no longer cut off: in clan chat only a narrow strip with a single sticker was visible.
- The profile no longer flickers: the client was re-requesting the account in a loop.
- The client no longer flickers after signing in with Google or Discord: the window was reloading in a loop.
- Age of Empires 1: Rise of Rome - players connect to the host's game when the router supports UPnP.
- The connection to other players no longer drops when you move quickly from one lobby to another.
- Age of Empires 1 and 2: the second player joins the host's game almost at once, instead of the old wait of about 15 seconds.
- Age of Empires 2 (original): the game no longer crashes on launch and players connect to the host's game.
- Stronghold Crusader: players connect to the host's game again when the router supports UPnP.
- Age of Empires: players connect to the host's game again, instead of an endless "Searching for session" window.
- Age of Empires launches on its own again: the client no longer leaves a helper file in the game folder that got in the way of a normal launch.
- The connection to other players in a lobby no longer drops about once every half a minute: no more rejoining several times.
- Age of Empires 1 starts for the host again: the game no longer closes by itself a few seconds after being created.
- In Age of Empires 1 players find the host's game and join it again.
- In Warcraft III players see the host's game again: their lobby used to stay empty.
- When the host aborts the game, Warcraft III now closes for every player, not only for the host.
- If the game is already running, "Start game" now warns and asks you to close it - before, the launch silently did nothing.
- A conversation opens at the latest messages again, including when you return to one where nothing new has arrived.
- A conversation is no longer empty when you leave it and come straight back.
- The whole history of a conversation is available: older messages load as you scroll up. Before, only the last 50 were shown.
- Windows and dropdowns no longer flicker as they open and close.
- The game picker in lobby creation now has search, and the list is taller.
- Games that could not be launched were removed from the picker.
- Dates and times are shown in the language of the interface.
- Diagnostics are sent automatically only when a game fails to start, crashes, or players cannot connect. Ending or aborting a game no longer sends anything.
- Reports sent by hand from Help are stored separately from the automatic ones.
- Sidebar chat no longer shuffles messages when you switch tabs and come back.
- New unread badge on the sidebar chat icon when a direct message arrives.
- "Play" button on the Games page now opens the lobby list filtered to that game.
- Lobby description length increased from 35 to 45 characters.
- Bug fixes.
- Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour: joining a room is more reliable for players with an unstable connection or a VPN. The host now repeats the key room announcements, so a joining player is less likely to miss the room.
- Fixed a room connection error in Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour. The game now starts only once the network channel is fully ready, so other players reliably find the host.
- Help requests now include the logs of the in-game network module, so connection problems are sorted out faster.
- 🎉 GameRanger X 1.0 is officially launched!
